Welcome to the Sand Machine Blog

Hey there, and welcome to Sand Machines online web log. We'll be using this location to keep you up to date on the latest news, supply show journals, and upload other random thoughts and notions which we see fit for public consumption. The big items of news for now are:

1. Porch and Space record release party, May 20th, Middle East Downstairs

2. An all new www.Sandmachine.com is coming your way in the next few days.

I hope to see you May 20th at the show (and make sure you check out all of the bands playing, they've been hand selected for your enjoyment), and also, enjoy the only known photograph of Dave center stage, free from being trapped behind the drums.

-Noah, Sand Machine bass ace.

Looking forward to the new CD. I'm a little far away, so I guess I'll have to buy one instead of trying to talk you into giving me one...old bandmate & all. I wonder if the Fellas gave Pete or Stewart anything for free?

Anyway...keep an eye on my blog for another "Dave - front & center" photo from the archives.

Old bandmates can possibly finagle a free one...Not sure I have your current address. Que es? (You can send that via a secure line...)Yes I know the picture of which you speak - an orange Reese's T-shirt if I'm not mistaken.

What about my front and center? I realize this blog is new but there's no need for that kind of spice this early!

Photo dispute aside, I do believe that is the first time I've sung w/o playing drums (rare acoustic gigs withstanding) this century. Get used to it. We're auditioning drummers as we speak...

It's also only the second time I've played a red guitar standing in front of a Golden Tee.

While we're at it... I'm nearly positive that was Jeremy's debut on the drums next to a Golden Tee.
